Patent published
My portable studio paint-box which was developed for painting people in the street, for use up a mountain or painting elephants on the hoof! - has been published in the patent journal. The concept of a portable studio; light-weight and ready for instant use, developed over the years, firstly in painting people on the spot in crowded situations. It is easy to use and ideal for wildlife painting as well as painting the view from the top of a munro! Developed out of necessity for the situations I found myself in. How to store turps, oil, palette, paint, brushes, and painting surface before and after use, and to re-use the paint box for the next painting took some years to get right but at long last published! The picture below is me using my paintbox up a mountain - it really has been tried and tested! - and dropped from great heights! |
